Narayana Murthy New Flat: Billionaire co-founder of Infosys - NR Narayana Murthy – has made a new luxury flat purchase in India’s Silicon Valley Bengaluru. This is the second time that 78-year-old businessman has bought the opulent apartment in upscale Kingfisher Towers in Bengaluru.
Infosys co-founder Murthy bought the residence from a Mumbai-based businessman, who had purchased the property nearly a decade ago. The seller was represented by Bengaluru-based Sadhwani Real Estate Holdings, Times of India reported.

Worth mentioning here is that the transaction marks one of the costliest prices in Bengaluru’s bustling commercial centre. The purchase has been made at a price of Rs 59,500 per sqft. The overall transaction cost is Rs 50 crore, the report added.

Kingfisher Towers Bengaluru

The 4.5-acre Kingfisher Towers at UB City is home to 81 bespoke apartments in 3 blocks in Bengaluru. Each residence in the 34-storey structure averages 8,321sqft in size, the TOI report added. These towers, notably, have been erected on land where Vijay Mallya's ancestral home once stood.

Narayana Murthy Net Worth

The Infosys co-founder holds a minority stake in the company, and had stepped down as chairman in 2011 after 30 years. Murthy, however, returned in 2013 to hand over management to a professional CEO in 2014. According to the real-time Forbes data, the Infosys co-founder is worth $5.3 billion. His wealth has risen from $1.9 billion in 2020, which is the lowest since 2015, Forbes data showed.
