But I think he always knew he will be caught eventually as he didn't plan well either to cover the traces before ( his identity is known within a day or two, even though his face is not visible) Nor planned his escape well. Also, he is not following the news as if he do he would have done some things to avoid detection. Kept same dress and same face coverings and go out and eat sitting inside McDonald's? That's the last thing one would do.. I mean, he has plenty of time to escape before his face is released, he could have gone to middle of nowhere or even escape to canada or Mexico...
