The pictures don't even show the full picture for us to determine anything, plus the article is from 20 years back. LMAO, what are you trying to prove here ra.

I see that, but that picture doesn't indicate anything. It doesn't even indicate how his body fat measurements were taken, plus why publish an article which is 20 years old. Even the body fat measuring standards have changed a lot since then.

What I am trying to prove here I already mentioned that just BMI is not a good indicator which I made very clear can't you even read the thread , should I repost everything lol idiotย

Even if it's 20 years back it's landmark hypothesis that proved the reliability of BMI, that is the reason I posted it and people like @Telugureduย commented he can't have 9% body fat percentage and questioning it's validation ra so I simply retaliated

So now who started it first what wrong did I say , that some random gym guy questions my knowledge and you supporting him

So now whose fault it is

Can't you even read the article , it's clearly mentioned dual x ray absorptiometry by which it is measured , and now I can judge your knowledge that you don't know about how fat is measured and calling my knowledge a bullshit , what a clown

It's even standard today for measuring body fat ra ๐Ÿ˜‚

Arey who's denying that, I know BMI isn't a good indicator of fitness levels and that's what's mostly accepted atleast in the West now, I am not sure if that's still a common indicator of health in India. An elite marathoner can have less than 10% bodyfat, I am saying that just based on the pictures of the two people it doesn't indicate anything. Firstly, they are both sitting and in a similar pose it's not even possible to see the striations on the person whose body fat is 9%, and at that level the striations should be clearly visible ra.

I am not supporting him at all, that's just you getting triggered for no reason. Plus I have plenty of doctors in my own family as I indicated earlier, including my wife so I have a lot of respect for the medical community. I am just unable to understand why you had to resort to the language you did, instead of just mentioning the above comment. Anger control issues unnaya?

Multi-compartment models are considered to be the most accurate method of body composition assessment (3, 10).

These models split the body into three or more parts. The most common assessments are called 3-compartment and 4-compartment models.

These models require multiple tests to get estimates of body mass, body volume, body water and bone content (21Trusted Source).

This information is obtained from some of the methods already discussed in this article.

For example, hydrostatic weighing or ADP can provide body volume, BIS or BIA can provide body water and DXA can measure bone content.

Information from each of these methods is combined to build a more complete picture of the body and obtain the most accurate body fat percentage (21Trusted Source, 22Trusted Source).

  • Advantages: This is the most accurate method available.
  • Disadvantages: Itโ€™s often unavailable to the general public and requires multiple different assessments. Itโ€™s more complex than most other methods.
  • Availability: Multi-compartment modeling is typically only available in select medical and research facilities.
  • Accuracy: This is the best method in terms of accuracy. Error rates can be under 1% body fat. These models are the true โ€œgold standardโ€ that other methods should be compared to (3).

Not anymore now, maybe back in 2004.

Ippudu ardam ayinda I clearly mentioned , first said he can't have 9% just by sering the pic and despite me telling and in the article it is mentined he was a marathon runner

Then he started saying it is unhealthy anyway then I explained clearly to him that you can't simply say he is unhealthy just by his body fat percentage and it has many factors how it influences your cholesterol deposition in coronary arteries the importance of HDL and LDL patiently just look into the thread how patiently I explained the concept and despite that he commented on my knowledge so should not I get offended, won't you get offended if you are in my shoes, just askingย

Dude I know what gold standard is but it is not routinely practiced, especially in the government setup , there is difference between gold standard protocol anand the practical availabilityย
