Nobody barked for what Yesu Reddy did. What exactly happened? 1. Only to insult Film industry headed by Mega Family, Yesu Reddy asked all of them to come by walk and give statements standing outside the administrative blocks. 2. Its actually Yesu Reddy who edited that particular clip when Chiru was folding his hands and released only that part. What followed next? 1. No one from Mega family even commented on this. 2. Yellow media used it to agitate Mega fans and there by tried to threaten them that only CBN & TDP are the protectors of Mega Family & Film Industry. What ultimately happened? Yesu Reddy became yerri poo on 04th June, 2024

Most telugu movies are worst movies, people are only watching them because of either caste slavery or no other form of entertainment in small cities. I agree with you on that. But still see the power and stamina of movie industry. Lets assume the ticket window collection of 1,000 Crore INR for Pushpa 2. if you peg an average ticket price at 100 INR, the total number of tickets sold will be around 10 crores which will be translated to just 7% of whole India population. There you go, even if 10% of whole population spends a bit on movies, the film industry still benefits and commands. Plus its social and cultural impact cannot be measured so easily. Cultural impact ? Only difference I could think of is we used to laugh at these tollywood people for making these cringefest shows before ,now everyone is laughing at entirety telugu people because of this "cultural" export.although its still better than the cringe that bollywood makes which made indian cinema a laughing stock already around the world.
