But what about non -IT, H1b uncles like core engineering/civil/medical ? They won’t have higher salaries as IT folks. A medical resident will be paid around 60-80k during their residency, will there be any provision to protect those jobs ??

last time chestaru annappudu - region consider chestaru annattu gurthu vundi. so a level 1 wage engineer in sfo/seattle/nyc or bayarea would have to  get a lot more than some one working in alabama. I really don't know if h1b wage levels also depend on the profession - may be they are different?

Minimum wages will increase by around 30%

for example :current wage level 3 wages will be equal to wage level 1 wages if the change happens
