Nah, it's not. H1s with cheap labour in terms of Witch and Desi mesthri shops is direct threat to American middle class. It's not supposed to be a replacement program.

I am not being hyperbolic nor am I trying to be sensationalist - but the barrage of anti India H1B sentiment is strong online.

So many on the MAGA right are genuinely convinced Indians are taking away the jobs that Americans could legitimately do ( there is no question there is an element of fraud going on ) - that the anger is building.

I worry in an extreme case a disaffected white person may cause a mass casualty event in an Indian majority neighborhood or enclave. 

We all just need to be a little bit careful in our public behavior.

Really not a good time to do large gatherings (movie hero rallies etc.,).

I have been a naturalized Canadian for a long time now, working on a TN. Na pay nenu untunna area lo median wage ki 2.5 x and is  prevailing wage in my field. That too my position got filled with me after them searching for 8 months. So, I'm not a cheap labour.

I have seen two sides of spectrum where my friends got H1B through mesthri shops, fake pakodi experience and 3 other genuine guys studied in sunny buffalo, Purdue and UPenn and made it in the US.

Compensation lo total ga $100k kooda ivvkunda "highly skilled" ante Ela cheptharu janalu. Average H1B wage $120 k unte cheap labour ani kaka emanali? Adhi kooda high end engineers and Doctors paiki lagadam valla average antha vasthandhi, lekapothe inka thakkuva. Problem cheap aa kadha ani define chesinappudu, nee field lo unna American workers tho compared cheyyakunda wage ni justify chesukovadam.

Neeku hate ki, objective view ki teda teliyadam ledhu. I will anyway move back in 4-5 years. Naa RE investments India lone unnayi. I have to take care of my parents. Nenu India move avvadam ki emi tadumukonu., so tatthima vallani tosesthe naaku GC vasthadhi ane type kooda kaadhu.

Purdue ,buffalo don't need much requirements 3.0+ GPA with decent lors and 7.0+ ielts score plus 310 gre is enough afaik.even malla reddy,vnr,gokuraju average students can go there.
