I have a closing in 30 days. haven't locked the rate yet. Should I float or lock it? Rates went down 8 points yesterday.

Not a new construction. rental property, so limited options for financing. Lot of price reductions now and when trump comes with tariffs and pressures feds to lower interest rates, there will be an uptick by next summer. will see if this theory holds.

30-Yr mortgages are dependent on 10-yr yield which is dependent on Inflation. 10-yr yeild has been contineously going up and almost near all time high.

Its a decent rate you got. Lock it.
