Are they asking these Q'ns only to you? Ask yourself why they are asking u. 

If they are asking these Q'ns to everyone, its a culture problem. Raise these in your Scrum meetings. 

Learn some diplomatic skills and handle these situations with ease. Use your 1:1's with your manager efficiently. Ask if its norm to give updates every 1 hr. Ask expectations on you.

First time they ask, just state where you are and your ETA for completing it or your ETA for an ETA.

If they ask again after an hour, just point to earlier message and say…”hey guys like I said earlier…I’ll likely be done at that time, will let you know sooner if anything changes.”

I have commited my timelines for the project and we don't have a flexibilty at this time. I know it is a simple task and can be completed in 3 or 4 hours antaru anna desi managers aithe. it is very hard to argue

Then state where you are stuck and ask for guidance on how to complete it. If they know it can be done sooner, they should be able to guide you.

I will give a detailed description of where I am stuck and why I need more time. It either means I am genuinely stuck or I do not have enough talent to do the job. Its on manager to take a decision.
