wow, how do you guys find time to drive kids to all these activities?

for those mentioning 4+ activities, I'm sure all week days evenings and may be even some weekends will go to these activities

won't kids be exhausted? genuine interest unte good but are they really interested in learning/doing these activities or is it more of helicopter parenting?

also I personally feel math/other classes such as kumon are overrated, kids can self learn once they are in grade 3 and above and will not need such classes

I am saying with experience, most kids struggle with MATH in middle and high school due to lack of good teachers. Also the subjects get tougher and tougher.

In general I agree, its not possible to do all activities. I have also seen families who send their kids to Dance/Music, STEM (Robotics), etc  apart from above mentioned activities. They are not seen in any parks, events, get-togethers or birthday parties. Even if they come, they vanish after 10 mins as they have some class. These kids usually turnout to be good at Academics but not at social life.

fair points

I'm mostly concerned about kids turning out to be socially awkward because they do not even get to communicate/play or enjoy childhood with kids their own age, I lean towards moderation as a result
