I think he may have been murdered by other prisoners - unless he committed suicide.

Apparently there is a code within the prison system in the US. Child rapists and killers can and often do get shanked.

Raghu Yendamuri is in complete isolation. Generally prison officers (unofficially allow) different ethnicities to group with each other - Blacks with Black prison gangs, Whites with Aryan Brotherhood, Hispanic with Mexican Mafia etc.,

 

Raghu - will be eaten alive if he was left alone. So, he is all by himself - prison officers cannot allow him to mingle with anyone - he simply is a rank outsider.
