Pros and cons of leaving 2 yo kid with grandparents in India

Will save money. But you will miss out memories regarding your own kids. If you feel money is still important, then go ahead. Otherwise, just send them to day care like a good, responsible parent.

Disclaimer: I don't know your situation. No judgements.

One example from memories: Kid will keep fallen tooth under their pillow and think that fairy will come in the night and take that tooth. Then, at night a Tooth Fairy(parents) will leave money or other treats in exchange, easing the fear of teeth removal in kids.

2 to 3 kids have so much energy

they will learn telugu in india and other social skills

When my elder kid is india his grant parents enjoyed because they have enough energy to raise him

out younger kid they want to take him but after 2 days with them i left and they are done

its completely your situations

You will be missing the transition from 2 to 3 year old thats when they start to do all stuff and talking. I donno about india but i had our kid here at 2 … she speaks telugu at home ( i’m surprised by the full sentences she forms .. probably learnt by watching us) also around 2 and half she went to school and learnt english

It depends on how many days….

1-2 months ithe good valaki manchi bonding ostadi….They will cherish the moments with their grand kid…meeku koncham free time dorukutadi..US return ochaka they will forget things and quickly adapt to US culture.

3 months- 12 months ithe, Kid ki koncham Indian kids ki unde anxiety ostundi and tantrums ekkuva ithay…mee parents kuda inka pillodni normal and ruff handle cheyadam start chestaru.

US return ochaka you have to spend good amount of time to groom them and change them.

more than a year ithe: Pure desi kid with Hyperness and few boothulu like badkaav, saley inka manchi orru batch tho unte…samskrutham ye nerchukuntadu…

US return ochaka, neeku frustration and embarrassment pakka and it will take a longer time to change habits in the child.

pro-- they learn telugu

cons-- you will miss them growing up; 5yrs varaku vunde aa cute moments ni miss avtavu ( personally I will not trade these with anything else)

The memories of kids I had when kids were little are precious. We watch those cute videos once in a while. We never left kids with anyone.

Parents can get lonely, so grandkids will give them new energy. If both parents work, it's a decent option compared to putting them in playschool.

It all depends on what an individual wants and their situation.

Reminds me of a incident when a friend visited us and asked my kid to read some alphabets. I said she couldn't and to my shock and surprise she read and talked in Spanish too. That's when I realized what she was learning on iPad. She used to watch Kitchen videos. Did not realize she learnt all that.

It all depends if grand parents have the energy to handle kid or not. If they have energy:

Cons:

You will lose memories of kids growing up.

Will become rough if stay is longer and take it for granted every thing.

Pros:

Grand parents will be busy and enjoy memories of kid growing up.

Kids become close to them.

Telugu learn.

You get lot of free time to focus on career.
