Per Kameshwari she was technically in a live-in relationship with him, while she was still married to Mr.Rao's elder brother for 15 years for the sake of the two children that Garikapti Narasimha Rao fathered with her illegally and immorally (unknowing to his elder brother). 

Kameshwari came to the media on January 8th, 2025 <Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaqVl54kias> alleging domestic violence by Mr. Rao during her stay with him for over 15 years. Due to not having a formal marriage, she was never able to get a formal divorce, nor alimony or child support per Indian Marriage Law, even though Rao has fathered two children with her. Per Kameshwari, Mr.Rao used to siphon the money she earned working as a teacher for his daily expenses as he was jobless and penniless. He named his two sons Sri Sri and Gurajada. 

His elder son (born to Kameshwari, while she was married to his elder brother) was named after great Telugu poet Srirangam Srinivasarao, who has completed his Hotel management and working as a General manager. His younger son Gurajada (born to Kameshwari, while she was married to his elder brother) who was named after great Telugu poet Gurajada Apparao, has pursued his Master's, M.Phil. and PhD in Telugu at the University of Hyderabad. As a motivational and spiritual speaker, Dr. Gurajada has delivered over 200 lectures across Telugu states. 

Rao married his second wife Sarada who is 30 years younger to him and she is from Amalapuram, East Godavari.^[1]
