Microsoft has a government job kind of culture. Lot of employees taking it easy there.. It's about time the underperforming ones are shown the door..

Naaku telisina couple of friends are working from almost 20 years literally in the same position and with not major change in their responsibilities. Its like a retirement home.

These folks joined in 2000 era working on supporting Windows with some testing tools. Pretty much they are doing the same thing with no change in their tech stack and also the work remains the same. Oka depressing culture aa Seattle loki velthe along with weather.

pro-Indian culture hiring sannasulani chesaru ani dissent bagane vundi. So, not surprising. Also, all big companies go through this cycle every two years. I don't think it can be categorized as recession layoffs.
