they did it in 1870-1913, amrika was the rich nation back then with these heavy tariffs, how they plan to cover 2T ? 25% tariffs on products from mainly canada, china, mexico and other countries. It will raise so much money, also the whole point of tatha is to create new jobs to locals with this trade agreement, not an easy thing tho, he tried in first term too, unfortunately that didnt turn fruitful in jobs creation.

dozen good large eggs in walmart are like over 8$, cos of flu, now imagine after tariffs what'd  be the cost of those eggs lol... you dont pay taxes, but you pay these tariffs new rates..

Tariffs reduce trade deficits and tilt the balance. If it gets expensive, then domestic alternatives will be worked up on.

It's unwinding the globalisation in simple terms.

true, we all know that, especially middle class, but that wasnt the case back in 1870, they did it somehow...

actually he did in 2018 during his first term.., on steel, produced enough jobs too, now the plan is on a large scale..

Thata plan is to only create jobs for locals and make country rich, elimnate IRS totally, like not even single new job, his statement is based on 1870 plan, and ofcourse jobs, his point is why consumers have to pay tax, rather pay tariffs, so that there would be enough jobs created, make the country rich, now how'd this work out or not, is wait and watch game.. some congress man concurred this plan already.... lets see
