Kannababu, third from right, and CMD of HUDCO Sanjay Kulshreshtha, fourth from left, exchanging copies of the MoU in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (AP CRDA) and HUDCO have entered into an agreement for provision of a ₹11,000-crore loan by HUDCO for the construction of the capital city Amaravati. HUDCO had already approved the loan at its Board meeting in Mumbai in January 2025. CRDA Commissioner K. Kannababu and CMD of HUDCO Sanjay Kulshreshtha signed the MoU in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence, near Vijayawada, on Sunday. Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister P. Narayana and Principal Secretary (MA&UD) S. Suresh Kumar were present.
