I'm Going In Podcast
S2 E8- Ret OKC Firefighter Chris Fields- "Out of Chaos"
I’m honored to welcome Chris Fields to the I’m Going In podcast. Chris is a former Major with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, where he dedicated over 31 years of service, responding to emergencies and saving lives. He is perhaps best known for the iconic photograph taken during the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, where he cradled the lifeless body of one-year-old Baylee Almon, a haunting reminder of the tragedy that day. Having witnessed the brutal realities of public service, Chris experienced the toll it took on him and his family, leading him to suffer in silence for many years. Now, he is on a mission to change the narrative around mental health for first responders, advocating for the importance of reaching out for help and sharing his own journey of faith, family, and healing. His story is one of resilience, hope, and the courage to be a hero not only to others but also to oneself."I'm Going In" is a transformative podcast hosted by Todd Blyleven, a former professional baseball player, TEDx Speaker, and heroic survivor of the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. Todd, who overcame extreme trauma and PTSD, recounts his own journey, from declaring "I'm going in" to therapy and church, to daily self-improvement. By showcasing guests who've faced similar struggles, the podcast empowers listeners to understand their trauma, declare their own transformative moments, and embark on a path of healing and self-discovery. Tax breaks bill already cleared House of Representatives. Only senate is remaining.

I think he is trying to create a slow down to reduce interest rates. So that his rich friends/corporations can get both tax breaks as well as low interest loans.

Tell me if I’m biased and looking at it through wrong lens.

Stop thinking about everything through political lens. There are some genuine people who worked their assess of and their 401k balances are going down. That is their only source of funds at the verge of retirement.

Imagine their stress levels. I’m not talking about young IT professionals. Let’s talk about a clerk at a county office or a librarian or a school teacher.

You sure fed did not decrease during Biden era? What are you talking about. That’s completely false. As a matter of the fact, Trump is lucky. Check fed hikes between 2020-2024
