Quality of macys and outlet are different nah? Even in kohls the prices are higher than macys. It’s depends on location and community. I prefer macys to any other stop.

The Design collection and Quality of many branded products always better in this Department stores.

Dillards/ Nordstrom > Macy's > Outlet stores  > ROSS.

the macys model is old and hasnt evolved much. 

technically they do not sell goods for the most part. they sell wht is called as shelf space. brands use them as a marketing tool mainly these days more than a sales avenue. 

Polo, tommy inka chala brands - macys lo prime spots to sections ki pay chestaru. then extra for inventory holding, sales etc. 

mall foot fall taggaka lopalaki vache janabha kooda taggaru not 100% dead. they either reinvent (like target) or trim the fat.

Middle class no longer afford $50 or above for a shirt.  To cater Rich and Upper middleclass, they no longer need too many stores.
