US’s hard muscle authoritarian status will come down to negotiating level if they continue these sanctions and tariff wars. 
 

American defense exports is the most lucrative export from the country and 25% negative will hurt the country like anything including the dollar. Starting with Europeans, they may want to re-arm using their own tech instead of depending on US military arsenal.
