na best friend ki kaalu lo nail (it has rust) digindi.. 2 or 3 inches ki undanta.. thanaki hospital ki evening varaku vellaledu..

firstaid kinda emi chesthe better naku teliyadu.. please help..just oka bandage tappa emi cheyaledu..He is too far from me that i can not help him..

help please..

Clostridium tetani (the bacteria responsible for tetanus) is primarily found in manure-treated soils. Most people associate tetanus with rusty nails, but in fact rust does not contain tetanus bacteria.

Here in the US a tetanus shot is indicated every 10 years.

[color=red]Some tenderness and some redness is to be expected. If the redness increases or is accompanied by swelling and significant pain, you may have a non-tetanus bacterial infection and will need to see a doctor.[/color]

Do not use hydrogen peroxide on puncture wounds (which I'm sure you didn't do!). Hydrogen peroxide can drive bacteria deeper into a puncture wound and hasten an infection.
