Can 'Saakshi TV' Pull Crowds

Ever since the news that the famous Saakshi newspaper is planning to come up with their own news channel has been making rounds, expectations have been rising high on this one and it is again the analysts and experts of the field who have been working hard to see what sort of impact this new channel would create.

As a reference, Saakshi has proved its mettle in the print media with its daily newspaper and has been posing quite a bit of competition to the Eenadu newspaper. If the same levels of competence is implemented in the electronic media then it is quite obvious that Saakshi channel will become a big name in the media circuit.

The brighter side is, this is owned by Y S Jagan, son of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and he has not been compromising on the quality and service provided to the readers of his newspaper.

However, it will be a different challenge in the electronic circuit and given the presence of some already established channels and an increasing number of new channels, there is a chance that it may not be the same like as it was in the newspaper field. Sources say that the formal launch of the channel will be happening during this month end and given the elections that are coming up this will be a crucial move to the Saakshi team and the other channels too.
