Job Description:

Works under the direction of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager and System Support Lead(s) to:

*          Perform analysis and testing of new systems and modified existing systems.
*          Adhere to all established processes and procedures for UAT.
*          Use established procedures to document instructions for conducting testing and recording findings.
*          Communicate issues identified during testing.
*          Provide support for Requirements teams, specifically in the definition of use cases.
*          Provide support to the Help Desk.
*          Validate and verify that the system is operating in accordance with system requirements and design specifications.
*          Write test plans. Maintain records of test progress, document test results, prepare incident reports and presents results, as appropriate.

Education and Required Experience:

*          Experience in testing of on-line and batch systems with both manual and automated test systems.
*          Experience in creating and executing Test Plans and Cases.
*          Experience in documenting Test results.
*          Experience in testing the content and accuracy of reports based on user requirements.
*          Experience with structured Systems Development Life Cycle.
*          Experience testing in a high-volume data movement environment.
*          Experience developing and documenting test processes.
*          Experience performing requirements traceability.
*          Experience in a technical environment consisting of .NET applications. 
*          Ability to write and run SQL queries as part of testing.
*          Working knowledge or experience with relational database structures and query techniques.
*          Data mapping and validation experience from source system to target system.

Preferred experience

*          Experience with applications written in Cold Fusion and/or Delphi. 
*          Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP).

*          Strong time management, priority allocation and task management skills
*          Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
*          Strong presentation skills to present test results to individuals and groups
*          Strong communication skills
*          Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*          Possess drive to work through issues, seek team support and escalate issues as appropriate
*          Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to meet project needs
*          Highly customer service oriented with proven ability to work with business customers as well as other team members
*          Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
*          Ability to work a flexible schedule during test weeks.
