Cong-TD duel MP fights elbow out Chiru

Hyderabad, March 14 (TNN): It may be said that triangular contests are possible in the assembly elections only, as clarity is emerging slowly about the Cong-TD face-to-face battles in Lok Sabha elections.

Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam is being pushed to a distant third in LS polls, if we go by the public mood and lack of many aspiratns for Chiru LS tickets.

MP duel fights are being expected between Congress and Maha Kutami candidates in almost all Lok Sabha constituencies.

Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam is sliding down in this one aspect, as the party is finding not many strong aspirants for these tickets.

Praja Rajyam may give a strong fight in one or two parliamentary segments in Godavari districts while it is struggling poorly in other parts of the State.

The enthusiasm that is seen in requesting for assembly tickets of Praja Rajyam is not witnessed for Lok Sabha tickets.

Observers look at it as a negative mark for Chiru at a crucial such as this. Political pundits expect strategic moves from Chiru to correct the situation and attract better candidates to do well in LS elections also.
