We are looking for experienced, versatile Senior Business Intelligence architect who can support full spectrum of BI development Must have proven experience in developing reports, dashboards and cubes Must have at least six years of experience in Cognos ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Responsible for overall technical design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions including Cognos Framework Model, Report Studio and Powerplay Transformer.
Ability to design, deliver and optimize Cognos BI tools in both ROLAP and MOLAP architectures including reporting and dashboard development and design
Must be familiar with Cognos Framework Model, Report Studio and Powerplay Transformer
Ability to write scripts/macros in order to automate tasks is a big plus Ability to collaborate with cross functional team
Good communication skills and ability to document production processes
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT problems with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Technical skills in troubleshooting reports and keeping abreast of new reporting technologies and methods
Maintain technical skills at a level commensurate with a BI consultant in the industry, keeping abreast of new technologies and methods
Some basic background in financial/insurance would be a big plus Must be able to translate the business requirements and develop report requirements.

Business Analyst III is responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering team. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issues. Functions as a liaison between the business and development teams to resolve requirement issues. Prepares UAT Plan, test cases and results. Must have proven track record interfacing with business and technical customers to develop Hyperion Planning solutions. Must have demonstrated skills using Excel Essbase Add-In and Smart View. Knowledge of corporate budgeting a forecasting practices a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Web division of Client needs two JAVA Enterprise Web developers (Back-End), with 4-6 years of solid experience in building applications for very high volume websites. Developers will be responsible for development, design, maintenance and support of approx. 100 websites. Contractors must have experience either high volume subscription based applications (TV Guide, Cable Companies, Utility Companies) to be considered.         



REQUIRED SKILLS: 4-6 years web applications development and supporting a large volume website environment, expert experience in Object Oriented Programming, design patterns, along with expert level JAVA J2EE frameworks including Spring MVC, & Hibernate with extensive experience working with application servers, WebSphere, Resin or Tomcat. Experience integrating content management systems with Dynamic Scripting Languages like: Groovy, PHP, Perl, Groovy and Grails is a big plus, solid SQL, Advanced experience with HTML, DHTML, XML/XSL, AJAX and JAVASCRIPT, in addition to experience working with Java Web service Libraries, and lastly, MUST have experience in working with a high volume subscription based application, excellent communications and presentation skills. This is a very fast paced environment and deadline driven so there is very little room for ramp-up or training. Must hit the ground running.
