upasana's dad belongs to telangana reddy family, telangana lo velama doralu and reddy doralu ani 2 categories untayi, upasana dad belong to reddy dorala family, and to differentiate themselves from regular reddys, this particular family keep surname (kamineni) instead of reddy as last name. my cousin is a distant relative of this family. upasana's maternal grand father is from nizamabad. even he don't put reddy in his name instead uses rao.
