Description

A talented engineer with a solid understanding of the IBM SOA Lifecycle and experience designing and implementing Websphere Portal and Websphere Commerce solutions.

The Websphere administrator performs technical tasks including analysis, architecture, design, testing, product installation and support of complex Websphere Commerce and Websphere Portal solutions to meet business requirements.

The Websphere Administrator has overall responsibility for the effective implementation, ongoing growth and day-to-day support of the company's Websphere based E-Commerce platform.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1.    Install, configure and manage Websphere Application Server.

2.    Experience with clustering and load balancing of application servers.

3.    Experience with Java and J2EE development and Apache Ant.

4.    Experience with LDAP and Oracle.

5.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical departments. Detail oriented. Strong project/time management skills

6.    Solid understanding of diverse environments and components - Unix, Windows, database, networks, etc.
