Former Telugu Desam MLA from Sanathnagar and president of All India NTR Fans Association Sripathi Rajeshwar is learnt to have decided to quit the TDP.

Rajeshwar, who was hitherto a staunch follower of TD president N Chandrababu Naidu, is disgruntled with the Sanathnagar seat being allotted to Telangana Rashtra Samithi as part of seat sharing. He lost no time in criticising Naidu for bowing before the TRS and neglecting the real NTR fans. "Nobody in the party will agree with Naidu having alliance with the TRS. It is a disappointment for all NTR fans," he said.

In fact, Rajeshwar was encouraged by NTR and after August 1995 coup, he joined hands with Naidu. In 1999 elections, he was given the Sanatnagar ticket and was the first candidate for the TD to be announced winner. Last time, he lost polls to Marri Sashidhar Reddy.

One does not know which party he is looking for to join, after quitting the TD.
