Hi There, We have 2 Sr.Java vacancies in our offices in NY (in liaison with our London Office ). Vacancies yet to be published but I prepared the following spec as per my manager's request.

Senior Agile Java Developer - Java / Java EE / Hibernate / Spring 3.0 / Struts

A world renowned media company that is starting a Java Development project, is looking for a Senior Java Developer (Java / Hibernate / Spring MVC) to start working immediately on a major web application. This is all Greenfields code and will look for someone to make a real difference.

The successful Senior Java Developer must be proficient in Java, Java EE, Spring 3.0, Hibernate and Struts and view themselves as a Java technologist. The Senior Java Developer will work in a talented team of senior Java developers (Java / Hibernate / Spring MVC) and work on a web application that is being used worldwide by the organizations clients and users. This is primarily a server side role, but a strong understanding of the front end technologies as well as back-end is desired. Due to the high end level of this project and the nature of the technical discussions you will be involved in, excellent communication skills are strongly desired.

The Java Developer (Java / Hibernate / Spring MVC) will drive forward new ideas and be involved in technical discussions. You will be entering an agile - XP environment so solid exposure to this environment is essential as well as excellent communication skills.
