Sometimes, we might click the delete option and then our bookmarks are gone. No option is there to restore them back?? The following steps will help you to recover the deleted bookmarks. Note: The trick only works if you haven’t closed Google Chrome after accidentally deleted your bookmarks. Step 1: Click the Computer icon on your desktop and locate the following folder: For Xp users : C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default For Vista users : C:\Users\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default For Windows 7 users : C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default Step 2: Such Chrome folder contains all of your saved profiles as well as its settings and bookmarks. Step 3: Locate the Bookmarks.bak file. Step 4: Right-click the Bookmarks.bak file and paste it on any other folder of your choice. Step 5: Now, remove the back extension from the file name.Done! You have just recovered all your accidentally deleted bookmarks.
