H1b job univesity lo vasthe join avva vacha.... as S/W developer( cognos reporting tool)... pay $65k isthanu annadu ... inka interview kaledu ... naku 1yr exp undi.

oka vela UNIV vadu fire chesthe ... nenu malla H1B chesuko vacha... please suggest me... HELP

If you had to leave the unviersity for any reason ( for example, lay off, or you decide to change the job). then you need to do the H1 transfer to another company. If the university terminates your H1B then I am not sure but I guess you have 30 days to get back into status. But ee rojulo ey consultancy ayina job untey ney H1b cheysthaa antaadu. So andhukanni, before your university terminates your H1b you need to find another job and then any consultancy would be ready to file your H1. I hope I answered your question.

yaa But join ayye mundhu ask him whether there would be any growth in your position (like promotions or jumping to another technical position with in the same university where you can get more pay......mothaaniki growth untundhaa ledhaa anni adugu). Otherwise, okka 1 year job cheysukuntu edhaina course nerchuko, then you will atleast have an idea about "a" in ab,c's... then you can jump to a consulting position. Because paisaaaa chalaathi hain duniyaa....

So university position is an entry level position... em bhayyapadakku....... vaala niku full time isthaaru work cheyadaaniki. because they know you are fresher...... as far as pressure is concerned you do not have to worry about that......... nerchukoni cheysthu undu......

first ni interview lo u need to ask whether they would file H1b... if they can, then I think you are good.

special category antey ..... I think they can apply your H1 anytime in the year and there 99.99999% of chance getting approved with no queries...........but mothaaniki ni visa ayeedhi H1b........

Universities cap exempt quota lo h1b apply cheyochu i.e., they can apply irrespective of cap count( at anytime in a year) and start date epudaina petkovachu...but okavela job pothe kanuka vere universities( which are under cap exempt ) can only request for ur h1b trasfer. H1b cap exempt visa tho "cap subject" jobs cheskolem. Okavela cap subject jobs cheyalante, malli h1b regular i.e, cap subject quota lo apply cheyali ankunta

University jobs come under non-profit organisation quota.... year lo H1B quota ayipoyina.... you still get that visa.... and query lu padavu... musukuni ivvali ante....

dude.... university ki working ante it comes under non-profit organization..... ante social service kinda.... vetiki annnnni exceptions ee... H1B quota lo kinda ravu... so general category open avvalsina avasaram ledu..... offcourse employer maradu kabatti H1 transfer pettukovali.... stamping issues emi vundavu.... u are just compromising for a low pay ade niku negative.... status issues emi vundavu.... terminate chesetappudu kuda usual ga neeku munde notify chestaru... some 45 days mundu adi university (might be diff for different univs) policy.... cool job.. no pressures... salary chalu anukunte u will enjoy your life... univ vundi kabatti cost of living takkuve... malli anni facilities vuntayi....

exp avute neku problem vundadu baa... picha lite.... pettina resume ki H1B tisukuntaru...
