Harinadh Policherla, who is a renowned [url="http://www.sears.com/"]doctor[/url] and entrepreneur, has come before us with the movie ‘Rajendra’. He is the hero, director and the producer of this film. Mr.Policherla troubled the audience with his movie ‘Chandrahas’ earlier. He is famous for being the co-producer of Deva Katta’s Vennela. He even appears briefly in the movie as the doctor who treats [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vennela_Kishore"]Vennela Kishore[/url]. Enough introductions. The story of Rajendra starts off in Thotakura Basthi (Yes! you heard it right). The evil and villainous Jai Prakash Reddy tries to occupy the land of this basthi with the help of his brother Satya Prakash and minister friend Ahuti Prasad. Our dynamic, daring and dashing young hero Rajendra (Harinath Policherla) saves the Basthi from this evil trio. There is a stupendously boring flashback for the reason why the Basthi was named after Thotakura. Our dyanamic hero grows Thotakura in the organic way and distributes it among the basthi crowd.[/font][/color]

A dynamic hero is never complete without a beautiful lady love. In comes Aradhya (Gowri Pandit) as the lover of Rajendra. The two get married and try to live happily ever after, but fate has other plans. While trying to save the Thotakura Basthi from the evil goons, Aradhya is killed. Who kills her? Why does she die? And will our Rajendra extract his vengeance on the killers? That forms the story.[/font][/color]

Gowri Pandit is the sole saving grace of this outrageously bad movie. She looks terrified about acting in this flick, but she somehow manages to keep going. She has also upped the glamour quotient and there is good skin show where required. [url="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0151534/"]Sudha[/url] is Ok as Gowri Pandit’s mother. Krishnudu, Sameer, [url="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0760777/"]Sana[/url] and Ravi try to do their best as Rajendra’s friends.[/font][/color]

Harinath Policherla is an unqualified disaster. He neither looks like a hero nor does he act like one. His performance is an attack on the senses of casual and innocent movie goers who might accidentally walk into a theater screening this ‘movie’. The tragedy does not end there. He starts dancing and fighting and this performance will cause you to tear out your head in frustration. If this gentleman ever decides to act as a hero again, kindly watch out.[/font][/color]

There are so many star comedians like [url="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0103977/"]Brahmanandam[/url], Ali, M.S.Narayana, Venumadhav etc in this movie but none of them lift a finger to even try and save the film.They must have already predicted the fate of the movie during the shoot itself. There are so many other negative points that we would run out of words and space if we include them all.[/font][/color]

There are 9 songs in this movie. This increases the torture quotient of the film and it is hard to believe that Koti is the music director. Editing is atrocious. Dialogues are bad. Cinematography is the only saving grace. It is ok.[/font][/color]

This movie should be used as a form of punishment to be meted out to people who commit crimes against the country. Special screening in prisons will deter most people from committing crimes again.[/font][/color]
