Based on some emails I got ... Though I clarified individually...wanted to post here also , hoping for the benefit of all forum members

1.Communication is important but certain modules like APO , BW require more communication skills , on the other hand Basis , ABAP which are technical oriented can survive with medium to below average communication skills

2.Also Implementation projects will require flawless communication skills as you will be designing everything from scratch , Prod support also needs good comm but can survive with avg comm skills
