All Eyes On Palakurthi

Hyderabad, Jan 3: Palakurthi and Lakshmakkapalli villages have become centres of attraction these days what with the announcment of Telanganites to stop the Babu Poru Baata in those villages. While the Telanganites have asserted that they would repeat a Mahbubabad if Babu continues his visit, the TDP is also taking it as a challenge to show its presence in the region.

Almost all the parties from the Telangana JAc to TRS and TDP have deployed their forces to ensure their success in their stands and the police too have been deployed in large numbers to provide the necessary security for the programme. Palakurthi according to the Telanganites has neen a nucleus of protests right from the days of Rajakaars and the TDP they term was resembling a rajaakar yaatra in the region.

A kadivendi revolt could be imminent if Babu continues his tour and Mahabubabad kind of protests would be repeated , they say. The students and women of the region say the Rayani Gudem protests would be projected on the eve of babu visit. What ever be the issue, Palakurthi is likely to attract the attention in the next 48 hours.
