H1B Please Help..

Hello DBmates,

I have few questions to ask regarding my H1B.My H1B is valid till oct1st 2012 and my current project with the client is there till Aug 16th 2012 and there is no possibility of extension as my manager told today already about that.However I am planning to go to India because my grandma passed away last year in May I couldnt go at that time as my parents forced me not to come.But atleast for 1 year cermony I have to go because she is like my second mother chinnapati nunchi avide pencharu nannu akari choopu choodalekapoya kanisam 1 year cermony kaina vellakapothey nenu waste...

But I am a subcontractor..I meant I am working at the client side for them but through a vendor and after that comes my employer so basically there is 2 layers(my employer and vendor) between me and the client.My company filed my H1B through Murthy law firm and as I have a case with them the lawyer agreed to talk fr 10 mins abt my case whether I can go to India or not.

He told that in India this whole subcontracting this is not at all working out.He told there are more than 50% chnaces of people getting 221G and once you get it takes atleast 2-3 months to process that again.But he also told that there are people who got like my case(subcontracting etc) but he said its a risk.

He told now-a-days people are going to Canada and there they dont have any issues with subcontracting etc but only issue they have they can ask as I am not canadian citizen why did you come to Canadam for visa stamping ani and moreover if I get rejected in Canada I have to go to India.

Please guide me should I go to Inida and take chance or else should I go to Canada.Did anyone go to Canada recently like my case and got their H1 Stamped ? What are the risk factors going there?..and please tell me anywebsites how to get canada visa first and how to book slot etc..I live in Springfield,IL so I guess Toronto is close for me..?

atleast canada lo chances ekkuvaga unnai kabatti...do one thing.......elagu india vellali ani decide ayyavu kanuka....aa stamping edo canada lo peetukoni, akkadi nunde flight kuda pettuko india ki...........canada lo vachindante happy ga india ki vellu.........raledante ....india ki vellalisinde.................but the chances are more in canada than in india so aa chance edo canada lo teesukovadam better ani naa view.........at last its your decision....

first time stamping aite comulsory..AP resident aite Hyd ye vellali...

if its renewal...u can go anywhere in India or other country too...

its not mandatory .. u can go anywhere in India ..consulate lo question chesthe.. like ... y did u come to this place. eventhough u have slots in Hyd'bad ani .. sometimes they may not even ask that

First time Home country ki vellali..

Ap resident aite..nuvvu ekkada appointment teeskunna..malla back pampistaru..unless u show that there are no dates available in Hyd...which is based on pure luck..

in case dates unnai ani vadiki teliste...100% chances of risk....
