Tirupati, Jan 5: Film actor and former MP Mohan Babu on Thursday lashed out at the TTD administration.

Mohan Babu arrived here for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara on the auspicious day of ‘Vaikuntha Ekadasi’ on Thursday and experienced inconvenience.

Talking to the media, he said that he was not liked by many, as he always spoke the truth. He said that he would tell them a truth and made a scathing attack on the TTD. He said that it was necessary that we must first respect our own family members, meaning that outsiders were being shown greater importance than locals. He said that who were being respected in Tirumala was well-known. Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai also had a darshan of the Lord. Being a Union minister, he was given preference over Mohan Babu, who was a former MP. He said that for the first time in his life, he was going home after visiting Tirumala with bitterness at heart.

State minister T G Venkatesh also said that there was no specific procedure for permitting devotees.
