BLUE: I agree it boils down to win/loss but if u were to discuss abt sachins caliber or his performance levels...u ought to be ready to make a little more in depth analysis on wat the situations are that created that win/loss. So neeku win/loss thappa em akkarledhu anukunte u shud not talk abt anything else (in this case sachin's performance or Dhoni's captaincy)...instead u shud just be praising/criticizing TEAM India as a whole unit for its Win/Loss

A TEAMS PERFORMANCE definitely is influenced by CAPTAIN and COACH. Players play, but in a battle..without the KING..there is no meaning of the war...there is no DIRECTION without him. soldiers,ministers and senapathi's...all follow the DECISIONS made by the KING although they themselves fight the battle physically.

Here Sachin is a Soldier...a heroic one...dHONI happens to be in the KINGS position.

So if the battle is won even due to Sachin like soldiers heroic deeds, the KING ultimately relishes the fruits.

BESIDES..u have mentioned in GREEN that...DHONI winning all those cups is not PURE LUCK...

So obviously CREDIT TO DHONI is undeniable.

Where as...Sachin...is expected to be the ULTIMATE BATSMAN of his times...couldnt live upto the expectations. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to PROCRASTRINATE to him. Some Love Sachin..Some Love LEADERSHIP..in which he is a ZERO...Luckily DHONI happens to b the man filling in dat LEADERSHIP ROLE. So i would definitely rate DHONI higher than SACHIN after the formers captaincy resumed.
