Eastern Naval Command Gears Up For Navy Queen Contest

[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3][left][size=4]The Navy Queen Contest in ENC, during the last few years has been a launching platform for many hopefuls. Notable and the most famous amongst them has been Ms Parvathy Omanakuttan, Navy Queen, Vizag, 2007, who went on to be crowned Miss India 2008.[/size][/left][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3][left][size=4]Grooming, hair styling, makeup and choreographing for this year’s Navy Queen contest will be undertaken by Achala Sachdeva of Fashion movie fame. Costumes for the finalists will be designed by Swapnil Shinde.[/size][/left][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3][left][size=4]The ENC has announced prizes worth nearly Rs 1 lakh for the winners. The screening of the contestants by a panel of judges will be done in two phases on January 12, 13 and on January 16 and 17 at the Naval Officers’ Institute, with the finals of the contest scheduled to be held during the Navy Ball 2011, on January 21.[/size][/left][/size][/font]
