H1 Denied...need Help

Hii friends,

Recently....My H1 was denied a week before my OPT expires &*B@
thru a staffing company after an RFE episode employee-employer relationship over the placement site.
And just have 60 days grace period before i move into any other legal status.

To solve this:
I got admissions from 2 universities with in a week...
FIRST UNI is my regular uni from where am on my OPT (which is a Bachelors program , have to enroll 12credits which is a big hectic)
SECOND UNI is a new one for me...where i got admission into Masters Program . (min of 6 credits to enroll.. if in case i have to continue to be a student until i find an employer it will be much easier/cheaper for me)

My concern is :
The classes in first uni already started and i haven't enrolled into classes till now ...but still there is a couple of days left to enrolled into....
The classes in the second uni starts formally from the 63rd day of my stay after my OPT expires (but i have just 60 day grace period only)

The student advisor from the second uni said that i have to transfer my sevis from the first uni to get an i20 from their uni.
If they provide me i20 and activate my sevis before my 60 days, having class starting day on 63rd day..is it ok ??????????? (Dont know what date they might mention in i20...)

i talked to couple of attorneys...they are giving diff advices.
One said that the college shld start before 60 days after OPT expires
Other said I am good as long as the school didnt report u haven't enrolled nor cancelled the sevis and as long as the second uni says its ok to register to classes as they issued i20 and activate the status...

2 wks nundi ee admissions, potential employers vethukkovatam &*B@ &*B@
Help Please.........
inthaki second uni ki sevis transfer chesesi , classes ASAP register aipothe legal f1 status activate aipodha???

Thanks inadvance

i think if you can register for classes before your OPT expires, then you are in status. You have to register. There is no need for classes to begin. But your sevis has to be successfully transferred and you have to be registered in the courses.

dude. i am sure. its not a problem. You register for classes before the 60 day period and you are fine. if you have any doubts, go ahead and contact ur new university(masters) advisor or DSO. they will also cionfirm what i said. You dont have to worry at all.

@gr33d .. but just to make sure .. explain your current situation to 2nd Univ's International student advisor .. they can confirm if there will be any issue with your status ..
