[b]The IT Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the IT organization and business technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. The incumbent is responsible for managing the project team that develops and carries out internal DATA CENTER projects by monitoring project activities, ensuring the quality, and integrity of the information, and providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the enterprise. The Senior Oracle IT Project Manager works closely with the assigned user community (and through business analysts) in determining how technology can assist them, and then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications. [/b]

[b]ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:[/b]
[b]Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of project.[/b]
[b] Participate in IT portfolio management activities, collaborating with both IT and business unit leaders.[/b]
[b] Manage internal and external systems/application development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation:[/b]
[b] establish work plan for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel[/b]
[b] identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks[/b]
[b] Define project objectives, scope, and level of effort[/b]
[b]Develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project[/b]
[b]Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel[/b]
[b] Initiate projects, keep projects on track and on budget, and resolve issues with customers[/b]
[b]Monitor progress against plan[/b]
[b]Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle [/b]



[b]Other Job Duties: [/b]

[b]Track and report resource hours and expenses on a weekly basis[/b]

[b]Manage project budget[/b]

[b]Ensure accurate purchasing and invoicing as relates to project[/b]

[b]Analyze project profitability, billing and utilization[/b]

[b]Required Skills:[/b]
[b]* 5+ years of PM experience[/b]
[b]* Must have Oracle R11 AND R12 familarity is a huge plus[/b]
[b]* familarity with Oracle migrations/upgrades[/b]
[b]* Exposure to oracle DBA[/b]
