Hello Db members...

I want to design a search (with in the application) web page (similar to google) so for this i have implemented my own search engine... I am week in designing part.... now i need some suggestions or example code or examples to design that functionality probably in jquery, javascript, html.... help me

My main criteria is like to provide search results with links and as well with description about the links as well.... Any ideas or suggestions appreciated... So plz help me out...

search engine in a web application, so do you search the db or html pages as well.. if so how are you going to spider the content of your web application...

I dont want to search outside of my application... application with in the db lo search chesi results display avali....

everything is work fine mama... but the problem is with presentation....
i want to present those results as how google gives relavent results for us when we search for some thing in google...

for quoting again... search is finished and ri check raw results.. its working fine... now fornt-end lo avi present cheyali perfect ga... so that is my problem....

vachey results ni presentationaa neeku kavalsindhi.... weightage ela penchaalo emanna ichada search engine API doc lo.. based on that results can be ordered.. search engine return format enti xml ey naa ?

I didnt understand your requirement properly. But Google Custom search code can help you, which will display the search results only from your website. It brings out the search results exactly as you do with google search within your website..
