good post..and thanks for tagging me...by the way...i am so happy that my disco i nthis DB...proved right...i already told that OLYMPIANS should be encouraged....ABHINAV BINDRA -- the FIRST gold medal winner for INDIA on an international stage...is an inspiration to many and definitely showed that SHARP SHOOTING is an alternative sport..

by the way...as much good as sachin can be in his field..which is cricket..the game itself has got minimal respect and is not even played by hardly 15 nations.....i wouldnt recommend him right now. cricket is a game ..with too much earnings ...for heaven's sake...we couldn't produce ONE SINGLE FAST BOWLER who could BOWL consistently for 5 years....in INDIAN CRICKET HISTORY. Imagine the encouragement that game gets and the money involved. if only half of that was put in alternative sports..we would have been competing with china or USSR in many sports , field and track events.

regarding tenzing norway....that is not nor gay..that guy intentionally malified the name. if Tenzing can not be eligible for this award and can not be termed an Indian..for afterall being born in the same subcontinent ..NEPAL..how come Mother teresa who is Yugoslovian by birth got that award? if i had enough maturity at that time...i would have conveyed my message then itself..saying...NO to her award.
