Laptop Problem Help Me Please

Hi, i bought dell inspiron laptop windows7, problem is if i call from skype or gtalk inbuilt speakers and mike is not working , i need to plug in headsets to listen and talk, but normal windows sounds like you tube sound and system speech recognition is working without any head sets, only for communicators or messengers like skype , yahoo, gtalk the in built speakers and mike is not working its working only through head set ports, i called customer care support but they couldn't fix, if anyone have solution please let me know friends, Thanks [/font][/color]

check skype settings: Tools -> options -> Audio settings and see whats the microphone and speakers.
