Zynga Makes Up 12 Percent Of Facebook’S Revenue....

In [url="http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1326801/000119312512034517/d287954ds1.htm#toc287954_2"]the social network’s S-1 filing[/url] for[url="http://techcrunch.com/2012/02/01/facebook-files-for-5-billion-ipo/"]its $5 billion IPO[/url], Facebook says that Zynga accounted for 12 percent of its revenue in 2011, through a combination of virtual goods payments and advertising.[/left][/font][/color]

Zynga has been trying to reduce its dependence by pursuing with things like partnerships with other companies and [url="http://www.adweek.com/news/technology/zynga-wants-cut-out-social-network-middleman-135725"]by developing its own gaming portal[/url]. Still, it’s probably safe to assume that it will be pretty Facebook-reliant for the foreseeable future.[/left][/font][/color]
