Court Rejects Narco Test For Vijay Sai Reddy

Hyderabad, Feb 2: The CBI Special Court has rejected the plea of the CBI for permission to make Jagati Publications Vice Chairman Vijaya Sai Reddy to undergo Narco Analysis tests.

The CBI has argued that Narco tests were necessary on the accused as he was not divulging any facts.

Earlier, Sushil Kumar, counsel for Vijaya Sai Reddy, opposed the petition by stating that the tests were violation of individual freedom and illegal. He also quoted a Supreme Court ruling in this regard. He also said that the Supreme Court also held that information collected through these tests could not be considered as evidence.

Following the arguments, the CBI Special Judge has rejected the CBI's plea.
