Help Needed - Tax Return Filing On Opt Status

Hi folks,

I need help in filing the tax returns. Actually i gave my w2 form to a tax preparer, he told i can get back $3200 on filing my tax forms.
I went through IRS and i found that we have to file only 1040 NR-EZ form if you are a foreign student. According to 1040 NR-EZ form, i can only get $563 only for the $2804 federal taxes. Then how it is possible to get $3200 as tax preparer said. Give me clarifications regarding this. (I checked the documents that tax preparer sent to me, he filed 1040 form as resident of US)

we have to file 1040 nr ez only...

1040 for residents ....


us lo 5 calenders unte then we become residents aliens for tax filing...then we can file 1040..

how much tax u had paid for 2011...

I paid $2804 federal taxes, $287 NJ state tax, and $286 IN state tax
