hi everyone ,my marriage got fixed on october 7th
i'm 19 years old, i was completing my B.E but because of my fathers health my parents wanted me to get married. also my father had debts because of his business failure
my fiance is an indian american doctor and he is 52 years old
its a long story .. we met on shaadi, the matrimonial site.
i hated him at first. i cried so much, for weeks
i didnt want to marry him at all. i was thinking about suicide.
in india , he came to meet me and we went on a boat trip to pondicherry with my parents, he asked me "do you like me?" and i told him "dont talk to me. i want to jump into the water and drown " even after everything i said to him, i called him an old man, uncle, etc. he still never got angry or said anything bad about to me to my parents.
he would call and i would cut the phone and pretend to talk just to make my parents happy
slowly, i started to read his emails, and to talk on the phone with him. i realized that he has a kind heart. in his shaadi.com profile , he said he wanted to marry a woman 40-50 yrs old , but only my relatives expressed interest in his profile ....... he said he didn't want to ruin my life
well , he paid for my fathers debts , something like 12 lakhs.
and after everything, on monday, he just send me an email saying "Nothing matters more than your happiness. If you don't wish to marry me, tell me now. " and he said that i don't have to marry him and even the money he gave us or anything else doesnt matter... we don't have to repay it. he said he will talk to my parents himself.
i cried so much, after reading that email, until now, i didnt want to marry him but after he said that.... i started to think what a good person he was and he is still being so nice to me after how i treated him badly . somehow in the last few days, i started to love him, in my heart . but im scared and confused because there are practical things like he is so much older than me , will we have much time left together and what about children.

i thought about it a lot and i dont know what is the right decision
good things:
i will never find another husband with a heart of gold like him.
i dont know how else to express thanks for everything he did for my family
he said i can finish my studies after marriage
he said i can work after marriage if i want to
he is not compelling me to do anything
i will have a nice life in america
he looks younger than his age .
he is well known in our community

bad things:
our age difference means he will die before me , i will have to be a widow for most of my life and our children won't have a father.. im scared of this.
he has a wife before me, now divorced, and one son older than me

but even though he said it doesnt matter, i feel he still wants to marry me, he sent me 500+ emails in the past three months, and he say he is in love with me and is willing to do anything for me and i dont want to hurt him.

what should i do?

if you love him marry him its not a big deal !! but make sure you love him and not just respect him for wht he is or what he is doing. evrything else doesnt matter
