Need to get this [u]filled this week[/u]. Big key is going to be someone who can articulate and explain their skill vs just respond to a question with a short answer. They need to demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently. Most of the previous candidates have worked in big shops where they were given instruction and they do their work. I need a candidate who is lead level but hands on. (Lead or Senior level..someone that does not need hand holding, someone that goes out and meets with the end users, gathers own requirements and then does the development) [/b][/font]


[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif][b]The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience building websites from the ground up ranging from static web pages to enterprise-wide applications. The candidate will also possess creative talents with emphasis on usability and clean design. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Ability to translate complex business initiatives into innovative technology solutions, defining architectural vision and direction of enterprise-wide solutions, coordinate and communicate with project team and stakeholders regarding technical matters such as deployments, technology upgrades, issue resolutions etc. Creating technology roadmaps in line with business vision and direction, working with peers and management to understand inefficiencies in existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions, working collaboratively with the other senior technical experts in IT to make technology decisions impacting cross platform solutions and implementations, designing the UI for web and desktop applications, staying current with the evolution of the technology industry, development methodologies, and architectural frameworks in relation to overall technology vision and advising and preparing formal presentations to executive management and senior level business partners on web-based technology solutions. BS and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. In-depth working knowledge/experience with some or all of the following technologies: XML, [url="http://asp.net/"]ASP.NET[/url], Silverlight, CSS, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, C#, SQL Server 2005/2008, knowledge of XHTML and CSS web standards and validation. Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in Microsoft Silverlight/Expression Blend is a plus. Desktop UI design experience helpful.[/b][/font]
