Tirupati, May 8: YSR Congress official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has challenged Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to prove that there were 80 bedrooms in the house of his party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as alleged by him.

Talking to the media here on Tuesday, Ambati said that he would quit the party if Kiran could prove his charge. Ambati also challenged Kiran to visit Jagan’s house for personal inspection along with his cabinet colleagues, if he had guts and courage. He also alleged that Congress, TDP and CBI had colluded in playing a mind game with Jagan.

Referring to the criticism against Jagan on his visit to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, he said both Congress and TDP were playing the politics of caste and religion. He said his party would complain to the Election Commission on this.

Ambati expressed confidence that YSR Congress would make a clean sweep of all the 18 Assembly and one Lok Sabha seats. He said Congress and TDP were only contesting for the second and third places.

When asked about CBI court summons to Jagan, Rambabu has said Jagan would honour the summons and appear before the court.

Meanwhile, Jyothula Nehru, another YSRC leader has alleged that the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was afraid of facing Jagan. Stating that it was improper to criticize Jagan, Nehru has warned that it would be counter productive for TDP itself. He also said that Jagan’s image would further improve because of such baseless criticism.
