model contains the business logic it is also known as persistance tier.....view is to represent the data to the end user it doesnt contain any dynamic functionality, it also known as presentation logic... html, jsps can be view, the requests from the user handled by the controller, it generates the response n sends back to the user, one servlet or jsp can act as a controller....
