Techie Electrocuted While Charging Cellphone

A software professional working with Infosys company got electrocuted while charging his mobile phone at Boduppal in the early hours of Thursday.
The victim, B. Anil Kumar (26) was trying to connect the charger to an electric socket when he suffered a shock and died. The incident happened at 4.30 a.m. Police said he got married a month ago and had rented a house in Boduppal.
As he screamed for help, his wife rushed to his rescue and tried in vain to separate his hand from the charger using a broom stick. “He fell unconscious by then and was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” the Inspector said.
Kumar is a B. Tech. degree holder and hails from Jeelgula village of Elkaturthy mandal in Karimnagar district.
