[color=#474747][font=Georgia,]The then Infrastructure minister in YSR cabinet, Mopidevi is arrested for his alleged role in assigning lands to VANPIC under various sections of CRPC. For now he is accused of misusing his power as a Minister to favour industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad. It is alleged that he played a key role in removing some 'words' from concessional agreements and note files between government and VANPIC to favour the latter one. [/font][/color]

[color=#474747][font=Georgia,]Sources from CBI stated that the minister is giving unrelated answers to the questions posed by the investigation agency, which makes it clear that he is unable to cover his illegal proceedings. With this arrest, it is imminent that other members of YSR's cabinet, Sabitha Indrareddy, Geetha Reddy and Kanna Lakshminarayana will fall in line, pushing the ruling Congress party into a tight spot.[/font][/color]
